Description
Everything in print, and every PDF that goes with it: the Roonie hardcover, both Bassist Wanted paperbacks, the stickers and bookmarks, Back Bay, and the three activity packs.
Roonie the Rabbit is a comic strip about a bunch of cute little animals with some very big feelings. Cute Animals for Flawed People collects the first 301 Roonie comics in full color. It’s an 11 × 8.5 inch hardcover with a debossed cover and a silk ribbon bookmark.
Back Bay is where they all started, 104 black-and-white strips from 2003 and 2004 that newspaper syndicates were interested in, until they weren’t.
All Local Bands Suck (Except Ours) and Jingles Are the New Punk collect Bassist Wanted, a comic strip about a scrappy but terrible local band. It ran in alternative weekly papers from Buffalo to Los Angeles, right next to the music listings, from 2005 to 2009. Both are 9 × 7 inch paperbacks.
The sticker sheet (18 stickers) and the six bookmarks feature illustrations from the book, and both are limited editions. I made them for the Book 1 Kickstarter, and I don’t plan on printing more.
The activity packs are for kids, and I made them with a certified Child Life Specialist (my wife):
- The Emotional Animals Coloring Pack: 100 animals to color, each named for how it feels. Ages 3 and up.
- The Ready for Reading Pack: 159 comics with the new words explained underneath. Ages 6 to 10.
- The Color Your Feelings Pack: 200 comic worksheets to color and talk about. Ages 8 to 12.
It’s every product in this entire shop. Except the softcover. (But you’ll already have the hardcover, so don’t get greedy.)
The Bassist Wanted books are PG-13: some language and mature themes. The rest is for everyone.
